I do the same thing sometimes the pain is totally worth it! Sprinkle a little Tajin and some Chamoy on it and its gone in maybe 15min.

He says his name on the livestream. That’s what that sentence means.

This - I’ve always felt that one beneficial add-on from the conversion to electric would be a big drop in traffic noise. Traffic noise can raise stress levels, particularly in urban environments, which has negative health effects. And it’s just plain annoying and pointless.

Yup. Prepubescent children the lot of them.

I am struggling to see how they would convey emotion even with fake noise for an EV. I do drive an EV and miss the emotion that can be brought by good ICE car but at the end the day, silence is great too

Thank you, Mercedes, and you are absolutely correct. I was on an airplane years ago where the entire rear engine cowling fell off over Colorado. Shit happens. I was held up due to a hydraulic leak on an Airbus on American two weeks ago. This sort of thing happens all-day-everyday, as you said.

I swear I will never get on a Boeing plane again. Ordinary citizens shouldn’t have to worry this much about which manufacturer makes the aircraft we fly on, but I guess that’s just life in America.

I’m disappointed that Brosnan had so little respect for geological features. Did he learn nothing from playing Dr. Harry Dalton, noted volcano expert, in Dante’s Peak (1997)?

They could just fucking skype/teams eachother, like normal people. Needing jets to meet up is so 1980s. It’s just a bonus and bogus excuse for the top level to go around the world and eat fancy dinners and play golf and pretend that’s “work”.

Why do right wingers never get that one is free to say what they want, the government cannot impression you, BUT you cannot be free of consequences for saying those things in the free market of capitalism and public opinion.

Airliners blow tires all the time. This is not news.

This really highlights anther shitstorm related to automotive subscriptions. Which maybe hasn’t gotten enough talk time. I assume automakers will exclude transferability. If you can make revenue on a feature for the full life of the car, they will.

Just. Fucking. Stop. with these idiotic postings about every little *maintenance* issue that happens to Boeing aircraft.

Jesus H Christ, this is not a Boeing problem. This is a problem with airlines being able to fully staff their maintenance divisions.

Exactly.

I support the no-fly idea for unruly passengers, as long as it’s handled more competently than the list for terrorists, etc.

I would think a tire issue is 100% an AA maintenance prob, and 0% a Boeing fault. I see you’re doing your best to generate a “Boeing sux!” meme, but associating tire concerns with the fuselage manufacturer is quite over-the-top.  It’s like blaming Morton’s salt for food poisoning....

Between the far left and the far right, only one is Nazi adjacent.

As an airline pilot, I can tell you that you just might end up on one anyway. Due to a variety of reasons, last minute changes can result in equipment changes. So just because it says it’s an airbus, day of could be a 737
