Exactly, though weirdly it depends on what I am eating. Plate of eggs and bacon, etc. I am 100% down for something like Tabasco, Tapito, Choula, etc. if I am eating a breakfast taco/burrito I want something salsa like.

This accusation that Stewart’s ego got the best of him reads like a take from an alternate reality. Stewart was, if anything, almost too humble. He’d go out of his way to dismiss himself and his show as just the ramblings of a silly comedian and would often make the argument that it was pathetic that his show was…
Easy...the enemy in WWII was able to be (rightfully) painted as evil in the case of Hitler, and (wrongfully) “othered” in the case of the Japanese (Though Nanking and Manchuria have a good case for calling them evil as well). Modern wars have the attendant media and personal coverage that is immediate - we SEE the…
I think The Daily Show’s political value was probably les about swaying the already political and more about making the apolitical more politically aware. That’s basically what happened to me; I started watching as a teenager looking for laughs.
Thanks, I remind myself of that fact a lot every time I fly.
I’m well overdue for a vacation and my girlfriend is definitely getting vocal about it. I’m not excited at all about flying anytime soon, especially as I’ve had a moderate fear of flying for most of my adult life, but all these recent developments certainly make it much worse.
That’s definitely possible. I went into it thinking that the hype was probably overblown(I go into everything that’s hyped with that attitude, because 99.999% of the time it is), which it was to some extent, but hot damn if it isn’t a much better flick than it has any right to be.
My take on Titanic is that it’s a perfectly serviceable romance story (and much of that is thanks to Billy Zane) until they hit the iceberg, at which point it becomes a grade-A disaster flick.
Nominating Ken but not Barbie is stupid and fits perfectly with the theme of the movie.
Agreed.. so if you havent seen “The Handmaids Tale” id check it out. At a high level, its a bunch of religious zealots who take over the United States due to a falling birth rate. Anyway, the reason I mention it is that there is a line that really stuck with me.
The Gerwig snub is the worst of the lot. She did something that showed remarkable creativity and craft based upon a doll that already had a bunch of silly little-kid cartoons associated with it. The only anyone didn’t think it would be a disastrous idea from the very beginning was that her name was attached to it.
Facts? I’m not interested in your ‘Facts’. I know the truth since I listen to alternative news media and not the main stream media crap.
“Got it!”
Not at all. Total sarcasm. It was riding the Michael Crichton post-Jurassic Park movie train along with a few other books he did. Big names and skimpy on screenplays.
Oh. I thought this was going to be a joke like,
My Master plan for Chrysler:
$42K for that Piaggio Ape? Shouldn’t $42K buy a fleet of those? Serious crack price. Yeah, I went there.
There was traffic cam video on local news (Toronto) this week of some assclown trying to use the snow-covered shoulder to race around a group of moving plows setting up an echelon formation on a multi-lane highway. It did not end well for this driver, and he was rightly roasted on social media for his stupidity.
“That’s really neat while I sit in the drivers seat making vroom noises in a car the manufacturer told me not to drive.” - Some rich person probably.
