“Woke” doesn’t mean lie. We now have a legal definition of “Woke” thanks to, of all people, Ron deSantis and his legal team. In court they defined it as “the belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them.”

I worked as a telemarketer for a summer as a kid.  This is the equivalent of people doing the Seinfeld “can I call you at home and bother you?”  People did it all the time.  Thought they were funny.  Weren’t.

Yeah the ‘61 Pioneer fins and those Gemini Spacecraft shaped taillights look like nothing else although a ‘16 Nissan Murano has that fin shape sort-of

They’re about as nuanced as a Long Island Iced Tea, and I don’t feel bad about writing off the entire category as terrible. There are far more enjoyable manners of acquiring diabetes.

Gray, glass, chrome, stainless.

Dianne Wiest deserves more credit in basically everything she’s ever been in.

Emotional maturity has nothing to do with shareholder value and that’s all the Executive Board cares about.

I get my melanin the same way any other pasty white, middle aged guy does. From the Coagula Procedure.

Trying Little Caeser’s.

In Chicago (and I’m pretty sure several other large cities), they’re being stolen to drive around committing numerous armed robberies.

It really depends on where I’m at, and how my travel time has been like.

I go back home once a year and part of it is a 12 hour hell drive so I only have to do six more the next day, by the time I get to the place I usually stop I don’t want surprises. I want a plate of food, a stiff drink, and like 30 minutes of TV

This is what it SHOULD look like.

Jet’s is good.  Especially their BBQ Chicken.  Best I’ve had.

True. The soup is certainly the best of the three.

Oh man. Where are you? In the Detroit area, the Little Caesar’s all make their Detroit Style pretty correctly, at least in terms of cheese to the edge. No sauce on top, but at least the overall form is correct. Little Caesar’s started here, so that makes sense.

Little Ceasars is always the wrong answer.

I mean, convoluted is an understatement.

It is amazing that people with that much power have such thin skin.

I haven’t eaten there in years, but I remember the food being (as you say) - fine. You know what you’re going to get. No surprises. So a good choice for those who like predictability when they spend money at a restaurant. Our family never eats pasta at a restaurant.

I’m a fan of their soup/salad/breadstick lunch, but any of the real “Italian” food is godawful...tastes like somehing from a frozen TV dinner back in the early 80s.

Smoking or Non-Smoking?
