Acknowledged, but I don’t think that makes the original post any less offensive.

In Britain, however, it’s called a slip road, pal mate.

Found Kristy Noem’s burner account.

I believe that Trump has all but given up on winning the election outright. He is now banking on his post-2020 election strategy of pushing the election into the House, where he hopes that the arcane rules of the 12th Amendment give him a better chance to be President. His rhetoric of late is more aimed at fomenting

The key is making it mandatory, top to bottom. No one feels singled out, no stigma attached. In nearby Chicago, it couldn’t cost more than they’re paying out for police bad actions.

I’m mostly in a Forester. Not giant as these things go, but I can see enough over the hoods of anything other than lifted pickups to see most cross traffic. At least I can see the other giant SUVs that stick up as high as the most common SUV/CUVs. The worst situation is when I’ve pulled straight in between 2 SUVs that

If the cops are so concerned why don’t they talk to the DA and have them file charges against the dealer?

Every test drive I’ve ever taken started with someone photocopying my driver’s license. If the dealership can do that reliably, they can get a temp plate on it.

That’s on the cops, though. All cruisers have a PA system that the cop could use to direct the driver to the next side road, letting drivers know they can safely move out of traffic without incurring the wrath of LEO.

I had an idea recently that I think would make a huge difference in policing. All cops need to be required to attend a weekly one-on-one session with a psych counselor, and a monthly group session with multiple counselors. It has to be mandatory so that no one cop is singled out as being ‘problematic’. It’s similar to

In a big hurry to replace my wife’s crash damaged car, I bought a rental fleet 94 Tempo. It was easily the least memorable car I ever owned.

Not the current version, but Chevy did a great ad two (I think?) gens ago mocking the blandness of the previous model. A crew driving a Malibu run into a back to hold it up, come out and jump in just in time for the police to show up. They start to get out with hands raised when the cops run into the bank, apparently

I’m glad it seems like investors aren’t falling for the snake oil

Don’t forget the charging network. That’s probably the best part of current Tesla.

That’s exactly what I thought when I saw it. Nobody cares that much about the looks of a taxi. They want easy access and room for some packages or baggage. The robo-taxi has neither.

When those giant vehicles also back in, I can see past the hoods better than I can see past the even larger ass ends, and generally I have a better view of cross traffic when easing out of a space if I’ve backed in or pulled through. But I’m an old, and I tend to pull straight into a space. Old habits die hard.

“She had vape coming out of her...wherever.”

70 miles off the shore is going to be pretty deep for harvesting, though.

EV or ICE, most people around me back into spaces anymore. Backup cameras make it easy, and the preponderance of giant trucks and SUVs means it’s easier to see cross-traffic when pulling out of a space.
