Commas are important, people

One bad debate does not sink a campaign

The only option that I can see that wouldn’t totally upend the Democratic electorate would be for Biden and Harris to switch roles on the ticket, with Biden backing up Harris the way that he backed up Obama.

Biden could have chosen to let a younger candidate run to take his place

I’m still amazed that Musk didn’t pitch a fit over the Tesla scene.

I maintain that Collateral is one of Cruise’s best performances, and the film that should have gotten Foxx his Oscar instead of Ray. Anytime that Cruise steps out of his standard hero role he does better.

In my fantasy timeline, her success in My Fair Lady would have convinced the studios to hold off production of Sound of Music and Poppins in order to have her do all three.

I don’t think that two normal sized wipers can clean that giant expanse of glass. It’s why they wound up with the Giga-Wiper ™.

I totally agree. This... thing, is the work of someone who does not have boomerish reverence for Vettes.

This is true of the Merc Tracer/Mazda 323 as well. It was one of the few times that Ford outdid Mazda on a stable mate, the Probe/MX-6 being a prime example of how Ford stumbled compared to Mazda.

I never saw that film. I don’t even remember hearing about it. Looks like late stage Burton, when roles began to peter out.

I also have a hard time believing that pillarless design would perform acceptably in rollover tests.

This is also the result of the explosion of cryptocurrency. This kind of extortion would be all but impossible without an untraceable form of ransom payments.

I figured that it was extreme hubris on Wahlberg’s part that was behind it, much like Adam Sandler remaking Mr. Deeds Goes to Town and The Longest Yard just because he could.

Well, we already got Tooth Fairy from him, so...

I love Hepburn in anything, but I would really like to have seen Julie Andrews’ version.

Charade is such a good movie that I thought it was sacrilege when it was remade with Mark Wahlberg and Thandiwe Newton. What the fuck were they thinking?

Do you mean Richard Burton? I’m struggling to remember him playing a charmingly sociopathic villain.

The same thing happens up north, where going outdoors for half the year without appropriate gear will kill you dead. The difference is that you can add layers to defeat the cold. You can’t remove enough layers to survive Phoenix at it’s peak.

No Taurus/Sable wagons, either. While it’s not show quality, I still daily my ‘02 Sable wagon. It’s done yeoman service for me for 20 years now.
