of course, but look at what mid-range (500-900cc) motorcycles cost 10 years ago? Those prices remained about the same (250cc or high end bikes crept up), despite inflation and better technology. I am not saying the price isn’t justify-able at all, I just don’t like it ;) Otherwise I welcome Honda becoming it’s older…

yeah, i know, i know, but econoboxes for $20k and 250cc motorcycles for a lot over $3k (close to $5k nowadays) just don’t make sense to me. even if i can afford them, I am just not a consumer enough, i guess.

Finally a new car I would really consider buying once it is 2-3 years old... But “stripped” car for 20 large??? Do you remember when brand new civic was under $15k? It isn’t that long ago actually.
