plato o plomo. o plaintains.
plato o plomo. o plaintains.
i suffered through ride along one night on showtime. i couldn't believe they made a sequel because it was awful.
always enjoyed his performances. really wish peaky blinders had more than 6 episodes/season. my wife can't stand him, but i think it's because before we were even dating we went to go see 28 days later with some friends and she was scared shitless that night.
went to school at urbana-champaign in the mid-to-late-90's, right around the time of the great ska (skankin'?) bubble. i saw a few slapstick shows locally. i never really enjoyed ska, but slapstick was one of the very few bands i could tolerate and even like.
kirk giving himself a nice eye-fucking when his alternate self beamed aboard.
i don't t know what to think about this show. it's like a serious perfect strangers for 2016. two best friends struggling in life open a restaurant! what's the worse that could happen?! sturges is really laying it on thick bordering a bad deniro impression. schwimmer is alright but i wish he didn't look like droopy…
i think after maladroit and green i just gave up on them so anything in between (red, ratitude, hurley, etc)…are sort of lost years for me. i listened to a bit of 'everything' and 'white.' i wouldn't say it's a return to form but something a bit closer to the weezer everyone wants.
i watched part of this last night and it was horrible. i have feelings too, chappie.
i actually liked zaffino's work a lot and was disappointed when he was replaced. thought it complemented the story and character well.
i can't for the life of me remember if i ever saw this band live, but while i was at urbana-champaign for college so many years ago a friend made the suggestion to listen to this band (this would've been the late-90s).
couldn't help to hope for the sequel named "i poo poo."
While the newer stuff would be probably the most mature, refined and efficient material, "give them rope" is still the best in terms of raw fury melded with technical wizardry. I saw them only 2-3x, once or twice with the original lineup and the other with they guy from the esoteric on guitar duty and they never…
for whatever reason i thought chuck rummaging through the garage was him getting a typewriter for his resignation letter. boy was i wrong.
first, i can't believe they're still together considering the average shelf life of a hardcore band was like 3-5 years back in the 90s. they're probably one of the very few names from the 90's metalcore wave that survived. but this is still one of my favorite converge records along with axe to fall/AWLWLB. the art has…
i haven never read a black panther comic in my life, but i picked up this #1 largely because of the MCU/civil war and was pleasantly surprised. will keep reading.
i think i've actually grown less fond of sweet child of mine over time, not because it's bad but because it's been overplayed. and that's likely due to the commercially accessible/radio friendly sound it's has. otherwise, appetite for destruction is just a fantastic record from beginning to end.
i'm ready to share chicken boo with my kids.
i read court of owls on TPB and i wasn't super impressed. but i will agree that capullo can draw a pretty sweet batman. probably all that practice with spawn back in the day.
as a dad of 2 (8 and 4), i've watched teen titans go! with them and that show never fails to make me laugh. it's as absurd as it is funny. the kids will mostly just laugh at the hijinks.
i saw them like 2-3 years ago for a reunion show in NYC. i never had a chance to see them in their heyday and i think the closest i came was maybe warped tour, but i finally got to cross it off the list of 'favorite bands to see live.'
