@Exhau: I could see that going well as a multiplayer game. The game wouldn't end until everyone has either died or escaped. Not that it would last for that long if things went wrong. You could have one person distract some guards and be a sacrifice for the others to survive. This game could be morally deep, too.

I'd like to see someone handle a video game about the Holocaust. How would they go about it, did it happen? Will you be a Jewish prisoner and have to attempt to escape? Or could the whole thing have been an over-exaggeration? Maybe you're the soviets and have to tamper with evidence to create legitimate propaganda!

Ok. Overpriced in my opinion. Especially since they keep popping out these slightly better handhelds constantly. Considering things are all compatible with this and that, isn't there a huge amount of time, money, resources, etc being wasted with each new handheld, too?

I've only been playing Mincraft for about a week and have already made many a fort and tunnel. As well as seen many amazingly generated things.

Again. Another article where I just... I can't stand people. Not him. No. Many people who respond. Who think "what an idiot lol." What is he getting across? Could be anything. What do I see him getting across? "I want my kids to grow up with less distraction due to my high expectations for their success."

I just have to say: He's there. He's the one in his position. He's seen what he has, done what he has, is thinking something that isn't easy to admit. For those that want to just flat out disagree with him, you're not Inafune. You're probably not even working in the gaming business, let alone in Japan.

@Meowhead: Starting with... Shining Tears. And most of the new games since then. It's some guy named "Tony" who was actually some type of hentai artist. The characters look good, but quite often the female characters have all this cleavage or ridiculously short clothing, etc etc.

@sugardeath: Did you ever play it on the PC / figure out how the music worked? the PC version actually has each set of an area's music broken down into 6 second mp3s. I think there were "Intro"s and "Outro"s and the music in an area is a combination of them. So it could repeat the same thing a few times or mix them

@resvrgam: PSO was different at least. You had a variety in the characters. I actually remember... Ashe or whatever his name is and how he's a noob to start out with and then later in the game he's stronger and grown as a character.

I feel like going through each comment and trying to crush the dreams of those that want a Phantasy Star 5. It's just like the people that still wait for a real Shining Force game to be made. Then look at the "Shining" games that ARE made. They're not that good and they got a porn artist to be the character designer?

@someone_else: I think the time for satisfaction has passed. Look at the way that many series have turned out and then wonder if you'd really want a Phantasy Star 5. :\

@resvrgam: All the Algol games had young characters. I feel like this fits as a counter argument:

And where is the mention of Phantasy Star Online 2?

@Ninelight: This is exactly what I was about to mention.

"Enough assets to make another game."

I really have to say, I have played hundreds of games I've thought better than most of those. Really.

@pwnyo: Well, there's some sort of limit. I think for the original game it's 50? It seems like a stupid rule. I want 200 achievements for a Fallout game; from the 50g I get for beating it to the 5g I get for surviving that grenade I threw at the enemy right in front of me for the 10th time.

All I really want to comment on is why do companies feel they need to control what you do with what you've bought. Piracy set aside, the modchip would obviously give people who bought it other options? It would enable people to develop it further?

@Purplemage: If I worked as the bouncer person by the front door, I'd have me a cudgel or tonfa to discourage shoplifters.
