Actually, yes. There is Chinatrown is in pretty much every big city, and almost every chinatown has the exact same architecture, because every chinatown was created by the same group of people.

A book added for ESO that might explain some of the ruins appearing in Valenwood, but definitely doesn't explain why there are ruins all over High Rock.
