I really enjoyed the time I spent in Neverwinter, but honestly every complaint about ESO you have could very well be said about Neverwinter. You can't murder or pickpocket NPCs, you can't break into houses and rob them, the main story is generic, you are not THE hero, you are just one of many heros, the combat lacks

That is rich, coming from someone who thinks all mmos suck.

There is plenty of lore as well as historical precedent to support limited racial diversity in factions. One example in lore would be the Akavir crusaders. One historical example would be the Japanese Americans who fought for the USA in WWII.

Also, you could not pickpocket in the last multiplayer Elder Scrolls. That

First off, in every elder scrolls game you have been forced to play part of a faction in the main questline - the blades. How is this any different?

Second, you would rage so hard every time you checked you inventory all your gold was gone because someone pickpocketed you.

Then you would complain you can't break into

You sound like a typical easymoder, complaining they don't get everything handed to them on a silver platter.

In ESO you can earn a reputation by wading into crowds of enemy players and slaughtering them wholesale. You can use that reputation to start the biggest guild in Tamriel, and unite your faction under your

It is not Cyrodiil. I have explored all of Cyrodiil, and never found anything like this. The only parts of Cyrodiil in ESO is a triangle around the imperial city, stretching from Bravil, to Chaydenhal, and Chorrol, and the area appears almost exactly like it did in Oblivion.

I think this is Grahtwood, which would put

Yup. It was actually a contest to see who could make the 'cutest' character, just to test the creation options. In launch I am planning on playing a [male] Khajiit, with pretty much the same build (leather armor, greatsword, bow, and a mix of assassination and siphoning skills from the nightblade class trees).

And of

Imagine the best companion mod for Skyrim. Now imagine that said companion is actually controlled by a real person, who is totally hot, and is sitting right next to you.

ESO > Skyrim

No, I mean the person controlling the resto templar that follows my dark elf nightblade everywhere.

Yup. And tons of flowers to pick as well.

They didn't leave all that out, OP is exaggerating. Example : you can wander around and explore just fine; you only have to zone when you are going from Cyrodiil to say, Skyrim.

Here is a map of all the PvE objectives in Cyrodiil. All of the icons on this map start hidden, and are places to explore. You get XP for

Sure did. I have a level 19 dark elf nightblade with medium armor, greatsword, and bow. And who cares about NPCs? I don't play MMOs for the NPCs.

I play them for the other players.

Unless you want to play something with your super hot girlfriend.

What about giant talking cat people?

You can play ESO just fine solo. Skyrim will never be an mmo tho; there have been attempts to make multiplayer TES mods since part III:Morrowind.

ESO actually has good combat tho.

No, I didn't notice over the sound of how epic this game is.

I pre-ordered UT3 because the developers promised to release a native Linux client on disk. I would have canceled my pre-order when 3 weeks before release it was announced the Linux client would not ship on disk, but they insisted a Linux client would be available for download shortly after the game was released.

With that kind of response time you wouldn't stand a chance.

The NDA had been dropped, so now I can tell you all exactly why I like this game so much.
