I too noticed that most of the general questions led to "See a vet immediately!!!," which isn't a bad idea, but it's not very detailed.
Around my area at least, "MapQuest" became synonymous with "Loopy/Lengthy Directions," which is why I made the switch to Google Maps ages ago. Besides, I just type "map" in the URL bar and Google Maps pops up with my street address already filled in the starting point of the directions field. Quick and easy.
I think the "changing lanes is counter-productive" line should have much more emphasis in driving school. Luckily, my parents drilled that idea into me. Seriously, if you're in the fastest lane, STAY IN THAT LANE! (unless it's a really unusual circumstance) I'm constantly laughing at the idiots who try and navigate…
I swear LH is hiding in my bushes and peeking in the window. I just recently started catching up on Lost episodes. The ABC player is a tad annoying though, it pulls everything out of fullscreen and then makes you hit a continue button to proceed. (Annoying if you're just watching it from your couch) It also bugs up if…
Glad to see the audio/video sync issues that kept me from trying the beta are still present in the full release. I think I'll just stick to watching Netflix in bootcamp, thanks. :\
I've been using TinEye for quite awhile now and it's pretty great. The only downside to it is that the database size is still relatively small (mostly based in non-English websites). I wish it was somehow integrated with Google's larger database.
@Tachyon0118: I got the education discount along with the free printer and iPod touch that sold on eBay for $250 USD. I consider that I got more bang for my buck and a laptop I can rely on to last me through college. It's about quality, not looks for me.
I'd much prefer macstyles.com for Apple laptop decals. Their designs include holes for the glowing Apple logo. Why cover that cool thing up?
The weather lady sure sounds enthusiastic!
@cinnamon3: You sure? We could be talking about Zen technology concepts here.
I sent an email shortly after this was posted and never got an email back. :(
I've been meaning to do this with my dad's old tilt shift lens (a really expensive lens) for use with my digital camera. I prefer manual focus anyways, more control is almost always better for me since I usually take my time with shots.
Well, at least it would prevent me from throwing my alarm clock across the room!
@cervelo04: Yeah, it really is that slow.
"Error getting your position. Mea Culpa!"
@Kandy477: You can click the option where it says "Can't find your car?" and input your own mpg estimates. I can push about 30 mpg in my Altima as well. :P
I've been using bitpim for awhile now on My Motorola V3m. Just the fact that I can stick it to the firmware lockdown Nazis at Verizon makes this program worth downloading. I mean $2.99 for a 20-30 second ringtone? Are you kidding me?
I use this collapsible bowl cutting board that doubles as a strainer: [www.kaboodle.com] It's quite handy.
