Can we remind ourselves of the fact that every single thing that the Clinton campaign, real journalists, honest pundits, and everyday people warned that would happen with trump as president has in fact happened and continues to happen.
How about electing a public servant next time. You know, start with that.
If this isn’t the prime example that (white) people who say “both whites and blacks are racist” or “there’s too much hate on all sides” do so in an attempt to make light of the hateful actions and policies perpetrated by white people, then I don’t know what is. This “many sides” or “all sides” rhetoric is just like…
Donald is as soft as a pile of whipped cream. There is nothing remotely tough about being an asshole. He’s weak and pathetic, and his big talk doesn’t change any of that.
Trump’s backing himself into a corner. This is why even the stupidest world leaders don’t draw specific lines in the sand backed by specific threats. What do you do when they cross the line again and again and again? He looks like a schoolyard bully who’s been called out and can’t back his tough talk.
It’s also gerrymandered into conservatism, despite being deep blue.
Texas has done it’s absolute best to make sure people don’t want to move there. It’s the only state on my and my wife’s “never in a million years move there” list. And yes, I’ve been to Austin. It’s still Texas.
I sure hope he speaks English
I saw her last week on Sunset blvd and at this point, still in her timeless Angelyne drag, she looks exactly like the 21st century Baby Jane Hudson.
His name means future, after all.
Trump is an empty, grease-stained McDonald’s bag borne aloft by a stray breeze. He cannot control his direction, and his current height is due to the vagaries of chance. I guess the point I’m driving at is, he is literal garbage and his garbage-ness is so fundamental to his being that I don’t think he can actually…
Voit will make a nice addition to this team:
Severe injury can cause mental slides with Alzheimer’s. I noticed that my maternal grandma was having problems as soon as I moved home after five years away, but it got much, much worse after her lag was mangled in a pit bull attack (one er nurse told me that ‘her foot was facing the wrong way’ i did not need to know…
The right is so hate-filled and ignorant that they will never see that Obama wasn’t a raging lefty. Maybe he was in private (however, I doubt it) but he governed as a very mild, middle-of-the-road centrist. Even the socially liberal stuff is all supported by over 50% of the country.
Wrong track domestically sure; we’re still living with the devastating effects of trickle down economics and the slashing of domestic programs. But the chief worry in 1981 was whether we’d live to see 1982. Reagan’s willingness to work with Gorbachev without backing down from basic western ideas gave us the secure and…
Good assessment. I’ve long believed that there was a lot of Reagan in Obama. Meaning, Presdient Obama studied Reagan’s demeanor and temperment Andy used it masterfully. One thing Obama never would have survive do would be being labeled angry.
Oh no way do I think Reagan and 45 are in the same league. He has Reagan beat by a mile.
I’m in my 30's. So I was only a kiddy during the Regan administration. But didn’t he show signs of dementia in his 2nd term? Does anyone know the signs of mental disease? Schizophrenia? Dementia?
