You can earn gold in-game, which you can spend on arena, so you could feasibly orchestrate this for free, though it would take a lot of playtime to maintain multiple accounts.

So the title should read

Right? I think people missed the whole “these problems don’t actually matter because I love my son more than a video game” angle.

I got the sense it was about how some parenting frustrations are insignificant, because you love your kids and them doing something that brings them joy makes those little frustrations worth it. I found it really touching. Another title for this could be “My Son is Ruining Zelda (But That Doesn’t Matter Because I Love

and who read lighthearted internet words literally, as though he’s genuinely advocating people not to have children.

it’s always easy in these comments to tell who doesn’t have kids

Yep, could always just take an hour and get him the outfit he likes on his own profile since that really seems to be the only thing he really cares about. Then just let him grab any junk he wants.

Zelda’s save system is pretty good.”

lol

The issue with the TRULY bad games, is not enough people own them for there to be a lot of reviews to make something “the worst game on Steam” therefore it’s going to be dominated by titles that were letdowns to established fans.

At least she didn’t pawn it for drug money, like my mom did with my N64 (and gold-cart Majora’s Mask, which I was about 80% finished with).

My mom threw our famicom into the trash when we moved to another apartment... I was 9 and it still stings....

Cowardly actions are often a smart way to do things, but that doesn’t make them less cowardly. If you’re gonna fight someone, fight fair. Otherwise, you ain’t got shit to brag about, imo. It’s just a bad look.

This is one of the most insanely petty stories I’ve ever read about a video game grudge. Also, tricking someone into a one-sided fight is pretty cowardly.

It’s not about outrage. Many people simply don’t want to listen to someone with stupid, hateful views. And why should we? People are judging jontron and finding him lacking.

Gita, thank you for this--and particularly for taking the time to collect opinions from the broader fanbase.

I personally find what Jontron had to say during the “debate” (if such it can be called with a straight face) absolutely repugnant, on both a (personal) moral level, and as someone who is reasonably well-versed

I’d say it happens more often with third-party tournaments, and it’s thankfully been happening a lot less.

That’s a goof that deserves to be preserved man!

DOH. Fixing, thnx!!

This film, for all its endless hours of footage filmed.... barely makes any sense. It just seems like a bunch of cool scenes stuck together, and “ta-da! we call this a film!”
