Seems like you played the very first english DS release (Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles). The translation was so bad it was completely reworked and released again with three completely new stories. If you’d like to give the game a second chance, then ‘Jake Hunter: Memories of the Past’ is the way to go.

Oh, this pleases me. I’ll wait for a story mode and hope it’s more in the likes of ‘BlazBlue’ than ‘Street Fighter 5’

I realized this a few months ago. I’m usually jumping between multiple games, but apparently there seems to be a developer’s fear that if stuff doesn’t escalate within 10 seconds, players will get bored. It snuck in unnoticed until I played ‘Dragon Quest 7’ or the latest ‘Star Ocean’.

Scott Ryder? Really? His name is as douchy as his looks. Guess I’ll go with the female option again.

I’m constantly distracted at work by my shipment tracking. The game should be in my mail box today and I’m absolutely sure I’ll have a blast playing. Loved every entry so far, even the ones considered as lesser ones.

Cool, so I could play the last five games on the Switch though I’ve been owning all of them on other platforms for months?

Alright, obligatory timeline question: When does ‘Dream Drop Distance’ take place? My copy is on the way already, but I’d like to know if I should complete KH 1.5 and 2.5 first.

What? More people searching for filthy Roadhog than beefy Reinhard? I’m really surprised right now.

...

And while typing this I think I answered myself why.

Is it just me or does the motion capture not do the character design a favor? It looks very weird to me and seems to be less cartoony then usually.
The environments look great, but I’m definitely not sold on the characters. Doesn’t matter anyway, I’ll buy this game the second I can get my hands on it.

I just wish Blizzard had made another PvE event. I had a lot of fun with Junkenstein’s Revenge and as much as I like (love?) Overwatch, I would enjoy it so much more if it had some kind of 4 player PvE mode.

Phew... doged about 20 bullets there. I was going to buy FF15 anyway and thought after one trailer I’d seen enough. Apparently, that was a good decision.

I shall so so, too. But only of you can enlarge the font much more than what Wasteland 2 considered very large. Made the Game unplayable for me.

That’s nice and all, but I thought Blizzard would give us an appropriate emote...

Look, I love almost every Blizzard game and like the other ones very much.

Actually, there are only two things I would love to see in open world games. Any chance Watch Dogs 2 has them implemented?

And here I am, thinking ‘Dick Kick’ would have been a perfect title...

That’s unfortunate, but in my case perfectly OK. There’s soooo much stuff coming out in November and December that I’ll be fine. And once P5 comes out, I want to play this without a nagging back catalogue in my mind.

I really shouldn’t scan Kotaku at work. Seven hours to go and all I want to do right now is download the update...

Yup, the same happened to me. This is a very good photo, but I just can’t shake the feeling that these are some possessed shrine maidens.

When I saw the first trailers for ‘Overwatch’ I was so disappointed that it was online multiplayer only as I am a 99% single player with the occasional co-op thrown in.
