...realizing Persona 5 is already six years old...

Massive user-base.

While I agree that award shows should let people talk, I also (mostly) agree with the “don’t get political” rules. There are times and places for those speeches and discussions, but this ain’t it.

LoM is both a masterpiece and a hot mess, which averages out to good IMHO.

Wow this is racist. People calling out Mercy about cultural appropriation while Lifeweaver gets a free pass because he’s Thai?

I get the frustration with Mercy getting a ton of LNY skins, but it’s because her character’s model is the easiest to adapt to a lot of concepts. The other Asian characters, not so much.

The real question is why is anyone still playing Overwatch 2 in 2023?

Lmfao.

You’re opinion and voice as a Chinese-American will be drowned out by idiots with nothing better to do then attempt to complain on your behalf, instead of actually asking you what you think on the matter. I’m sure there are Chinese-Americans that aren’t cool with this, but they too will be drowned out by idiots

Hack Kotaku writer using an incredibly small sample size of terminally online perpetually outraged (probably white people) on X groups behalf in order to generate rage bait engagement for the article? Must be a day that ends with Y.

I love hearing people online say over and over again that Miyazaki should be making the Zelda movie and how I have to remind them that he’d rather kill everyone in the room and then himself than make a movie adaption of a video game.

This is such a terminally online take. The notion of bottling up each individual culture such that everyone stays in their respective lanes and culture can only be expressed or shared if someone has the exact same skin tone and nation-state lineage as you is so fucking backwards.

If people have issues with the

I posted this elsewhere, but as a Chinese American I’m glad Mercy can wear this. I used to play Overwatch and mained Phara, Roadhog & Symmetra. I didn’t like Mei’s toolkit so I didn’t play her. But as Chinese I loved having Chinese skins available to my other characters so I could see myself represented in how I

Have any of these people stopped to consider that maybe it’s not the character but the player that is wearing it? I don’t play Overwatch anymore but as a Chinese American I liked having all my characters (Pharah, Roadhog & Symmetra) wearing Chinese garb because I am in fact Chinese.  Should I only have to play Mei

I don't know the writer of this article but Kenneth Shepard doesn't seem like a terribly Asian name to me. Are any Asian people actually upset? If they are let's talk about that but lets cut it out with the offended on others behalf bullshit.

Articles like this scream for a dislike button.

I find it fascinating that progressive people in favour of representing other people’s cultures find it offensive when the “wrong” character attempts to showcase said culture.

Americans use the terms “cultural appropriation” and evenblack face” so incorrectly they’ve completely lost all meaning. You stupid fucks need to figure out what you’re upset about quick because one day something actually offensive will happen and we won’t have the language to describe it

In what way..? He didn’t say anything about framerate.

I’m sorry a PC owner stole your boy and/or girl. That must have been really painful. Luckily you have your console to cuddle at night.
