Barb’s problem is the game being anti melee. Y’all forget that they had to add a 30% damage resistance for barb and monk in Diablo 3 for this exact same reason.

Didn’t help that they front loaded the first game. All the cool cutscenes were in the beginning of the game. After that it was the camera pointing to different talking heads.

If they want people to pay that price they need to release some first party AAA games for it. I’m not paying half a grand to play some indie games.

Been waiting for them to do a sale on their 3ds games before the shop goes under. Have wanted to get a few of the Etrian games. When the shop goes down all those games become abandonware. Wont feel bad about getting them through alternative means after that.

Xenoblade 2 is still 60 bucks. 90 if you want the dlc. Its bonkers.

I feel like Chinese games are worse tbh. Look at Genshin. No black characters. At least not when I played a year ago.

FFXIV could be so much bigger and more popular of SE gave it the funding it deserves.  Instead they are starved for graphics designers and many cutscenes go unvoiced and have generic animations.

I’m in that camp too but with more of a reason since I loved the Valkyrie Profile games and then they put out that hot garbage that is Valkyrie Elysium. They didn’t even let Tri-Ace develop it. I’ve been waiting years for them to put out a Valkyrie Profile: Hrist and am so disappointed that the new game is so generic…

I just set everything to free with the new update. Don’t got time for any of that.
