@Hearthatvoiceagain: I run mac and win, but all my music is on the macs. I run itunes on the windows machines just to stream from my mac collection. The win experience is slower than on the mac though, so you have a point, but I don't think it's an abomination.

@Squalor: I prefer books as well, much more than any e-reader. The convenience of having a bunch of books with you and downloading new ones nearly anywhere really makes it convenient though.

I think the Nook is the best device if you're in the market for e-ink since it has an SD card slot to expand memory and it runs Android which has been rooted and has apps like Pandora for it.

Apple stock is a boutique stock that most people buy just to say they own it. Unless you're buying a massive amount of shares (millions of $), or got in when it was in the double digits, it's just for bragging. Smart middle-class investors know there's no money to be made there.
