Hey Giz, when you guys start your walk through, please consider details on how to build a few different levels. I'm sick of Hackintosh being limited to cheesy netbooks. I'd like to see a guide on a mid-level consumer PC on par with say a iMac. And then if possible a guide on how to hack together your own Mac Pro level

I've been paying for Prime, purely for the shipping. I love the idea of making more features available to Prime subscribers automatically. It's something you don't see companies doing ever. If I'm already paying $80 a year for one service, I would have expected them to charge a completely different set of fees for the

WTF I've been using this new look for months and I don't have the new search tool. Just went back and looked to see if I've been overlooking the drop down this whole time and it's not there. Guess this going to be rolled out?

Couldn't agree with you more. It's a bit silly to me. Rewind to only a few years ago, when the Apple craze hadn't yet caught on, and Apple products we're just too damn expensive for the average user to pick up, without good reason. Their livelihood was supported by professional level users who relied on the Mac Pro

That's exactly what I'm saying. I don't think the TV itself has that much room to be improved. The only pitfall I can see in terms of usability is the cable box, which of course wouldn't change with an Apple branded television. You'd still need your cable box to get access to programming. The only way I'd see

I don't understand the hype behind an Apple Television. It's most likely going to be offered in only one or two sizes, and be a simple tv with an Apple logo slapped on the front and an Apple TV built right in. And it will of course cost at least $900 more than an equivalent sized TV from another brand.

Yep

It's actually really terrible UX. Seems to me like they're just trying to find reasons to make you look at their new Metro interface. It should be able giving users the most efficient tools to get the job done, and presenting different views or layouts only when necessary. But to completely replace the simple start

I'll give it to Microsoft for making the whole process a bit nicer on the eyes, but I can't see how this is any more efficient than search in OSX. It just seems crazy that you have to first pop into start, which is no longer a pop up menu but now a full screen metro style menu, then type, then pick what you want, then

I was really shocked that they don't provide you with some sort of simple iCloud like folder in finder. Similar to what happens when you install dropbox. I understand that the intention is to set it and forget it, letting the tools do the work for you, but it would be nice to be able to manage photos taken on my phone

Yeah but Facebook would probably do what it did with Spotify, and require that all Dropbox users sign in with Facebook and then make whatever they're storing public. :)

Wouldn't be possible, whenever a company buys out another company, there's usually a pretty strict no-compete that needs to be signed, basically disallowing the owners of the original company to create a similar competing product immediately after it's sold.

+1. By the way when is the meeting this week?

They streamed the trailer off trailers.apple.com

You could get started by just using a tripod. If you want to integrate pans you can lay down some PVC pipe and put some skateboard wheels on the bottom of the tripod to let it move up and down the track.

Wish it was stop motion rather than puppets, but still pretty cool.

A lot of respect here, but who in their right mind would nominate to volunteer for the next stage of testing with the actual virus!? Especially knowing that the vaccine may only be 90% effective.

Or more importantly, will it blend!?

I came across a Nerf gun mod site a while back. Will have a look around and see if I can get it working a little better! Thanks!

Noticed the error immediately after posting, edit comment link was not working.
