I don't understand the hype behind an Apple Television. Yeah but Facebook would probably do what it did with Spotify, and require that all Dropbox users sign in with Facebook and then make whatever they're storing public. :)

Wouldn't be possible, whenever a company buys out another company, there's usually a pretty strict no-compete that needs to be signed, basically disallowing the owners of the original company to create a similar competing product immediately after it's sold.

You could get started by just using a tripod. If you want to integrate pans you can lay down some PVC pipe and put some skateboard wheels on the bottom of the tripod to let it move up and down the track.
