They don’t let anyone in unless you can prove usefulness to society....that’s the only standard I care about. It was the same one applied to me and my family when we came to the U.S. a long time ago.

From the same article you quoted in reference to the numbers you state:

Wow, your reasoning is amazing.....just telling someone they are dumb without refuting what they say is literally the dumbest and laziest thing someone can do. Why don’t you tell me what makes my experiences actually living abroad and seeing how things work so dumb. Enlighten me, please. I’m sure you’re a genius with

boy, that was insightful......

The medical tourism from the U.S. to foreign countries I’ve seen has been largely cosmetic in nature. And the vast majority of the world travels to the U.S. for the major stuff. At least that is what it was like in NYC when my sister was doing her residency. Large population of immigrants walking into the ER

Lived in London and Spain....the healthcare in Spain was terrible and in London you needed private insurance to get anything worth a damn. I have not lived in Sweden but have family there.....you pay too much in taxes for my taste but their immigration policies are pretty smart.

“This shit ain’t working!”

For me it came down to pricing and sizing. I bought a used A6 last year that ran me $25k for a 2014 premium plus model and when I looked at the comparable Cadillac (can’t remember the exact badges I looked at) they were all $3-5k more expensive and didn’t seem as roomy in the interior - like they were a few inches

Couldn’t he just tell the GM to fire the guy? Why mess around?

Faulks arms are juuuuuust a bit too short, unfortunately. Another inch or two and that kid is toast!

Actually....that was one of the biggest issues with Hillary running for POTUS. She said in her book they left the WH broke and then disclosed a $150mm fortune once she was running again.....people started wondering how one goes from $0.00 to $150mm in 8 years when you’re supposed to be a civil servant - she was a

Also all of the highly paid executives spending their $$ in and around the area furthering development and related jobs.....sounds terrible.

Hmmm....where to start. I would say there are A LOT of people that vote republican that fit your description to a T. However, the ones I’m talking about in the mid west do not. For decades.....since Bill Clinton....those people have followed the Dem party line never once wavering. And during that time they saw free

When you say “you and your “economically anxious” friends” are you really talking to me because I’m neither and don’t have any friends that fit that description. I’ve never been to one of his rallies nor have I committed violence on anyone’s behalf. But, what I can do is look beyond the surface and empathize with

I didn’t say your anecdote was bad, it’s just sad that people were bothered enough by her voice they didn’t vote for her on that basis. Maybe you should take a deep breath and let go of the anger. You’re reading into things that aren’t there.

The Dems could run almost anyone (not Hillary) and win if they do one simple thing...actually two things:

She was terrible.....she muscled her way to the Democratic nomination essentially stealing it from Bernie (who I believe would have crushed Trump) and had ALL kinds of unsavory political history that could be thrown at her and was.

Hillary was a terrible candidate regardless of her gender. The Clintons need to just go away and allow the new crop of Dems to rise to power.

What about two votes? Because the midwest voted for him both times....in big, big numbers.

What was their alternative? Hillary had spent less than 5 minutes in the midwest during her entire campaign and free trade and tech advancements have decimated their economic base - all things she was in favor of? So their options were 1 person who clearly gave no shits about them or a guy who at least pretended to
