+1....I believe that’s defined as a ponzi scheme.

How stupid am I for considering a 2013 version of these? How much pain am I in for if I pull the trigger?

The refs....I doubt the NBA would allow the finals to go down in 4 games after having CLE/GS both sweep back to back opponents. Too much ad revenue on the line.

My Canadian friends tell me everything is super expensive over there and that’s it not all uncommon for people to cross the border to do all their shopping.

Also, income taxes have got to be much much better in Texas (0% state income tax) vs. whatever he has to pay to live in Canada.

Sorry, educate me on why being from that part of the world would make me understand the difference? Or why you think I’m pretending by using the word “preferential”....

I had that experience trying to sell my car a few years ago....I was selling it for a decent chunk less than its worth in order to tie it into a new car purchase and couldn’t get anyone to even look at the car. Had to change the name on the Cars.com listing after 10 days of hearing nothing. It was sold by the next

Yes, it happens in other languages, too. I’m from southern Spain (Andalucía) and people from Madrid or Barcelona react to my regional accent the same way Americans do to anyone from the deep south...we’re essentially the Louisiana of Spain.

Why would that exclude Obama...he has a massive cult following. He’s exactly the guy being described. He could talk his way in/out of almost anything.

I agree with you but the reality is if you’re someone looking to hire 1 employee, and receive 100 applications that all look exactly the same, you have to whittle the pile down somehow. Would you fault someone for choosing a candidate who “sounded” the best on the phone?

“People who speak nonstandard English or have a non-majority accent stay poor because assholes like you discriminate against them in hiring and a host of other situations. Consider someone’s ideas or work ethic and not their accent or word choice.”

he was born rich...different standards.

Would you say they are discriminated against because of the accent? My parents certainly were - both highly educated but when you sound like Ricky Ricardo, you’re gonna face some challenges.

do you have to ask? I mean, they’re called “grammar nazi’s” aren’t they?

Have you spent ANY time in an American court room? I can tell you that poor white people who are uneducated, have odd speech inflections/intonations, absolutely get it worse than those who sound more polished. And that’s true regardless of any race - those who sound/look/act polished get way more leeway than those who

I think you’re correct...it must be a timing issue where he needs the capacity RIGHT NOW and can’t afford to let any of it go elsewhere or he’ll miss his production date targets.
