I’ve mentioned this in other posts.. There was a huge tobacco lobby, it was part of America’s culture, but we beat it (mostly? kind of?). Now, most kids see cigarette smoking as gross and unhealthy. Anyway, we need to do the same thing with guns. Apply the same tools and teachings in the classroom as early as possible

Sade crooning “Jezebel!” is always there in the back of my mind when I visit this site. Glad there’s finally a reason to link these two today!

This is a fictional country in Africa, so the incorporated different things from a lot of African into a homogenized Wakandan culture. I think it would be much more difficult to just come up with all of that from thin air. To the uneducated westerners, this looks African to us and very beautiful and believable. To

Does Hardee’s still sell roast beef sandwiches? I remember being young and ordering them when my family would get fast-food, because no one else in my family wanted to go to Arby’s. Anyway, what I am saying is I am a fan of all of the fast-food roast beef sandwiches and can only imagine a McD’s version!

Is what you are saying supported? Or is it yours and others’ opinion? I mean, everyone should try to make as much money as they can in their chosen profession, whether they are the same or different than the other competitors, right? If she’s just a competitive driver that wants to compete with the best, what has she

I love this idea but I live in an apartment downtown, so it’s just not feasible without asking friends to store 4 wheels for me for the other 9 months of the year. Eventually I will grow up (I’m 44) and get a house and will do this, but who knows when that will be.

People thought that way about big tobacco. Now, most kids see cigarette smoking as gross and unhealthy. There was a huge tobacco lobby, it was part of America’s culture, but we beat it (mostly? kind of?) Anyway, we need to do the same thing with guns. Apply the same tools and teachings in the classroom as early as

Great article, great writing. Sometimes reading things can trigger past experiences, but often times it’s cathartic to the writer.

This story.. combined with your user name.. mean so much to me today! You got the glow!

I just saw it! The answer we all were waiting for! The commanding police officer just told the press, in not so direct a manner, that we need to start turning in our friends, family, neighbors if they exhibit strange behavior. That is their solution. Turn people in when they are acting differently than how you expect

Education. We need education. About how stupid guns are. It is hopefully working for cigarettes, drugs, texting while driving, so maybe, just maybe, if we can get the next generation to think of guns as stupid, then they will be less likely to own one and less likely to support gun ownership when they get older, and

Would. Still. Just can’t get over how good it looks.

First thing I thought of!

I think this is great! I’m a somewhat regular reader of comics but some of this info was news to me (like that T’Challa being conflicted about being the ruler of Wakanda as well as wanting to be a superhero), and I know it could be helpful for those who are most definitely going to see this movie at least 3 times this

My first car at 17 years old was an ‘86 charcoal gray 2 door Cavalier RS, with the digital dash. I absolutely loved that car and drove it through my commuting to the local college. I wrecked it when I was about 23. There were so many things that went wrong with that piece, mechanically, electrically. But I still loved

Damn! It’s a painting people. It looks beautiful and every painter has their own style, not everything needs to be photo-realistic! I love both of them equally and think they are wonderful, but there are people on here bashing the Michelle one, and I don’t get it! /rant.

I love boxy-looking cars. Why can’t we have more of those? Everything this car is, just more boxy. If it helps, I currently drive the 2nd gen Scion xB, I want an updated one of those. But I am slowly becoming a fan of Kia.

Why do you care? Latina is female, Latino is male, Latinx is both and everything in between. I think it’s a great term. But even my positive opinion doesn’t matter. This term is a product of those who identify as Latinx. Who are you to tell them to stop using it?

Dude, it most certainly IS more than just another Marvel movie. There’s a whole lot of significance for a huge portion of our nation, as well as other countries. This was known by Marvel going into it, I assure you they did not treat that aspect lightly. This isn’t another Dr. Strange. I cannot wait for this movie!

I always thought that some group called JD ranked powerful things.
