If he got his steak I hope it was rubbery as fuck. Good lord, that was a softball question. “I am humbled and honored. I may be the first, but I won’t be the last”. Boom - good for the selling-outiest of sell-outs, the wokeist of woke, and every stripe in between. Bet even Ben and Clarence winced.
Someone pointed out that this guy found a way to uplift whiteness in a moment that was an opportunity to celebrate blackness. Haven’t really been able to think about this differently since that thought hit me.
Well they won’t be doing alright for much longer if they keep smoking like chimneys.
I don’t think that invalidates the quoted part. She is unquestionably more famous right now.
It’s interesting to me that the narrative is “Elizabeth Olsen was in her sisters’ shadows but now she’s the most famous of them all!” when Mary-Kate and Ashley are actually doing absurdly well for themselves.
This was a conversation I had with my father during the holidays. He’s a dedicated news media junkie and Don Lemon is one of his must-watch shows. I mentioned that I was glad Don returned from “the dark side” and my dad was like “What do you mean?” Oh dear, Papa....pull up a seat....
Van Jones ex-wife has the look of a woman that found out the soft way that not all stereotypes are true.
He always reminded me of that type of black person who is used to being the blackest person in the room who spends most of their waking life surrounded by non-blacks (i.e., professional settings; the actual suburban cul-de-sac where they live amongst the non-blacks; their progressive church, etc.) but then forgets how…
He can’t do better. He is too deep into the kool-aid now. I think he genuinely truly believes in his both sides bullshit. He had the opportunity to Don Lemon his way out but he did not. He’s a lost cause.
I have a real pet peeve when I hear women threaten a man to “fuck him up”. Ladies don’t do it, don’t say it. All you are doing is gonna get you man beat up and/or you beat up. There are some crazy people who will take you up on that offer, and you are not Ms Elizabeth and he is not Randy Savage.
It’s amazing how much people start to talk about “inclusivity” and “unity” and “bringing everyone together” after they get caught trying to overthrow the government
I think the one thing going for it not being a hoax is that Hicks tested positive first and they clearly tried to hide it. If her diagnoses was part of the ruse, they would have announced it loudly so they could set the stage for Glorious Leader being infected by her so he could then make a miraculous and…
Now that I’ve slept on this, I have mixed feelings. Overall, I’m doing the schadenfreudiest dance I’ve ever fucking done, but I have some thoughts.
...sort of like the way Republican politicians really don't want to repeal Roe v. Wade; they’re raising way too much money off the IDEA of repealing it to ever let it disappear.
To paraphrase a point made by one of my fav YouTube channels, if Liberals took one-tenth of the energy currently being used arguing with people who are never going to be convinced their ideas are sh*t anyway, and used that energy to do real work on Progressive and Left-Wing causes, the world would transform without…
Conservatives are hardly under-represented on college campuses, and as ForeverGreyGardens correctly mentioned to you, Ivy League/Top Tier schools are chock full of them and pump them out by the boatload.
I also have yet to see one conservative college known for personal and academic freedoms.
There’s also the entire issue with bad faith arguments.
Given that this stuff is everywhere, it’s a weak argument—the marketplace of ideas is sorting itself out, just not in the direction Prager and Carolla would like.
