Not really. IIRC there was a kerfuffle a while back about universities taking ownership/credit for work done by employees/students as far as patent/payment etc.

During winter FA (IIRC) yes; but part of the reason no one signed him was the aforementioned “we don’t care THAT much about actually winning” front offices have been on AND as the season got closer it became this “We like you, but we don’t want to give up a maybe for you” game leading us to where we are now.
