Bingo, $1,000 is about what it’s worth in pieces, so this is a wash at worst.
It’s the right take. I might be more into it if I could see the rest of the car. Kind of cheating to show me the back seat. Even in my more-virile years, I saw a lot less of that than I did the left front.
I saw an ad the other day for a super clean NA Miata that was missing its motor. $5k. I’d laugh if this wasn’t the new norm.
I am all in, why not? Run a few tests on it, throw a few parts at it, if it works you win, if it doesn’t a guy like me who has never owned one learns to speak Mercedes, and it gets sold for around what I bought it for, or parted out
Oh wait, I see the issue right there in your photos...it’s a ‘96 Pontiac Firebird.
So...what does this have to do with cars again?
I don’t mind some news on shit like this when there is SOMETHING related to cars contained within, but come on.....leave this shit to CNN.
You know what this is? Fun.
Typical bloody cager...
These catalytic crims could not give a single fuck about the “working man”. They’re only out for a quick buck like most thieves.
British cars cooler than that thing? OK. In no particular order, off the top of my head, no McLaren to soothe your widdle fee-fees:
Yeah, but according to the 5 second rule the car is perfectly ok and unaffected from the drop.
“I’m seeing “forgetting you have it because you carry all the time” as an excuse for this,”
Mine was just shy of 2in long and it was the actual keychain part. I had to take all my keys off of it. They didn’t care about my 4in knife in my shaving kit though
Here and the TSA took away my baby swiss army keychain knife
Re: mystery coolant leak - my 93 F250 is in the shop getting a reman engine as we speak. I’ve chased that same leak for three years, until an old timer told me that the casting on those blocks (the 302 and the 351 - not sure about the 460 but probably that too) was often defective. The blocks with the poor casting weep…
I expect the most common story is someone that conceals carries a pistol regularly and just doesn’t think about it anymore.
As wild as it is for a lot of people here to imagine, I bet there’s a good number of people who carry quite often who don’t fly much and ended up bringing their gun to the airport. It should be punished with a fine, for sure, as you just can’t do that, but it’s probably not as scary as it was made out to be.
That part caught me, too.
