I’m not making plans for Nigel and I have no future in British Steel (except maybe Triumphs of both the two and four wheel variety) so that is a hard pass.

Damn, I want that for my ‘95 F150. I have a 3 head cassette player recorder with Dolby B/C and a stack of type 2 tapes.
Metal tapes sound better but cost more than buying the album on vinyl and CD. You can literally buy a cheap head unit with bluetooth, USB & Aux In for less than the price of a blank tape /rant.
Two trips the same year, one much shorter than the other. A phone could have prevented both of these advertures, but I was still relying on a pager and payphones.
1. I grew up bouncing between temperate west Europe and hot southern US states - I never had the opportunity to learn to drive in the snow, I still have…
ha. town, just across the mountain from Burningtown.
They DO make plug-in heated socks and gloves butit is hard to beat heated grips, and bar mitts over my bark busters. It is a warm tent for your hands and allows use of normal moto gloves.
Also, Carhartt Artic Extreme coveralls are 1000 denier - making them more abrasion resistant than many purpose built moto gear.…
I’ve wanted to go there for a long time, I still have family in Franklin but don’t make it out that way much.
This road, just outside Charlotte, NC would be wonderful for something similar. The county built it for a planned Daimler Truck plant on 400 acres that never materialized, it has sat as a road to nowhere ever since.
Didn’t work for mine, but that is likely a matter of age - my truck is legally an antique car in many states.

The Eddie Eagle GunSafe Program is still a good program for youths and they still offer some great courses with a focus on safety for adults. I was an instructor but don’t care for their politics.
This isn’t a truck, this is a city version of a Country Cadillac. Worthless as a pickup, too big and slow for the track, too déclassé to be a status symbol.
I hit No Dice like the fist of an angry god.
She’s not perfect, but I like her
Same - but this is dropped too, so I don’t see the point of 4WD. This is a good, somewhat fun, truck to fill with plywood or motorcycles and tow small trailers. BUT also not for me.
I drive a ‘95 4x4 shortbed regular cab F150 5.0 XLT with the handling package, and HD rear springs. Small enough to park in town,…
I like the late 60s Superiors.
Ah, Interesting. My father in law rand the auto buying/sourcing service for a credit union for 20 years. I’m not sure if it was by law or liability but they stopped selling or financing 15 passenger vans for schools or churches (any passengers under 18).
Needs more dually extended vans, they hurt to look at.
Or Kriss Kross for people of a certain age.
More importantly... does the butt-dialers shirt button up the back?
I was at NP until I saw it didn’t have AC - that is a deal breaker in the Carolinas.
