Ah, my bad. I misread the Wiki article. I did see the R32's were far more expensive.
The GTI mk5 turbo 4 outperforms the mk4 VR6 though, right? They can be picked up for about the same price.

Or even Mk5 VR6
Agreed. I have a ‘71 CL175 and ‘72CB175 - both bikes are better rides and (at least to me) FAR better looking. $1600 is close to what they are worth in great shape with a current inspection sticker.
Not restored, but I would MUCH rather have a relatively rough ‘63 than a pristine ‘83
Maybe if it was 20 years older
It a shame that this helped kill Alta Motors and the Redshift.
As North Carolina lacks a barn find law, and ‘87 is too new to sell to a friend in Georgia and but back (no titles on cars over a certain age there) getting it legal would be expensive and difficult here.
Otherwise, it would be kind of tempting.
“It’s a sham because overworked employees and delivery contractors like UPS can’t possibly fulfill all the orders on time. Rather than lose their most powerful client, they lie about whether packages got delivered.” - I think you mean USPS? The linked article is about the USPS and at least here almost none of my Prime…
“Nobody really wants it cold and dry. “ - So, just to clarify, whiskey shouldn’t remind you of necrophilia?
YES! My first car was my grandfather’s old shop truck - a 1978 Ford Courrier. In college, I had an early 90s Nissan hardbody, and up until someone rear-ended me at a stoplight pushing me into the car in front of me, I had an ‘87 B2000 I was slowly fixing up.
I never understood the whole mini-truckin’ thing, but I love…
No hate for Anglophiles. Also, the TR3A is one of the most beautiful cars ever made, I think that is the British Steel that Priest was singing about, right?
A Ferrari? So even UAW leadership doesn’t want a UAW built car?
It really underscores the problems they face.
Hail Me!
FALSE!! It should be “Hey Asshole, The Flu Shot isn’t JUST about you” ;-) Becuase it IS about you - you won’t get the flu from the shot, and if you even an imperfect match (or early exposure) means you won’t get as sick for as long.
But you are right, it is about your family, and your coworkers, and babies, and…
The part of me that remembers living on the Belgian border with France is like “oh god no, why would anyone do that to such a classy and classic car” the part of me that remembers I was born in Oklahoma and live in North Carolina is screaming “hell yeah, mang!”
I love them, but my heart belongs to the Triumph & the TR3A.
Where can I get a suit like that? https://twitter.com/colbertlateshow/status/972343010083053568?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E972343010083053568&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stereogum.com%2F1986727%2Fwatch-david-byrnes-giant-suit-emporium-commercial-and-performance-with-stephen-colbert%2Fvideo%2F
TL;DR - It’s just a decent EQ preset, aiming for a v-shape sound. Turning the effect “off” in-app seems instead to turn ON a deliberately muddy EQ preset. Save the $ and adjust your EQ.
WHY I WAS SKEPTICAL
Like others here I am skeptical that any app can make significant improvements in sound quality across multiple…
