I just beat Black Mesa the other week, and I have to say it’s probably the most enjoyable way to play the game now. A lot of the annoying areas and puzzles were fixed or changed in the remake, and even the Xen sections are pretty enjoyable if not a little longer than they should be. I had a great time and took me 11

Give any artist better tools and he’ll be more likely to make a better product. If you give good artists crappy, dated tools, they’ll still do a decent job, but it won’t live up to its potential, aka Fallout 76 and Fallout 4.

Ah yes, Dooku

Just enjoying my Star Wars playthrough of XCOM 2 :D

They are, it’s just you that’s changing. It happens to everyone. There’s periods when I don’t play much, then there’s periods like this isolation when I haven’t seen my wife in a month.

You haven’t provided anything “factual” you provided your opinions, which is fine

I’ve just completed a playthrough of Fallout 3 the other month and 4 a couple months before, and significantly enjoyed 3 more than 4, so it’s very much not nostalgia.

Funny thing is people actually comment “Well she’s forgiven him, so ya’ll should just move on” as if that makes what he did okay.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree. I remember when Fallout 3 came out, and everybody was loving it and raving on, and that when Fallout 4 came out, it was mainly “I expected better, but it’s good”

“But I feel like I’m playing the origins of a villain in Odyssey.”

Cause good guys cheat on their partner /s

Lol Fallout 4 better? Fallout 3 is better in just about every way, and the reviews and majority of fanbase largely agree. It wasn’t my first fallout, but it was more my kind of game. Crpg fallout vs rpg fallout is a different discussion entirely and first two weren’t made by Bethesda which is what this discussion is

They get my 5 dollars when it goes on sale. I never buy Bethesda games full price anymore, since Skyrim.

Sold more yes, it’s also been out about 4 years longer. The reason it continues to sell is the overwhelming amount of modding support. Do I reinstall it to play through the storyline? No, I continue it to play and use the work of other people not involved with Bethesda. Bethesda knows this which is why they officially

Fans demand a good game. Make a new engine for crying out loud, this one is entirely too dated for one and that severely impacts enjoyable gameplay, and fans shouldn’t have to choose between one or the other in terms of writing and environmental story telling. A good company can deliver both if they put the time and

Bingo. If they ever want have the success and popularity of games like Witcher 3, KotOR, etc, they need to double down on quality. Hell, I found that Oblivion and Fallout 3 was the closest they’ve come, but there was still so much room for improvement. Especially compared with companies with less money for development.

Much rather they made a new game based off of Guild Wars 1. Could never get into 2 because it didn’t give me the same feelings or interest me like 1 did.

See, now unlike the other one you guys made an article about this other day, THIS looks sweet!

I didn’t find it that frustrating, that being said I was on normal difficulty. It took a few tries, but the checkpoints are generous. Main thing is getting rid of his arm guns as fast as you can. After that all he can do is stomp and shoot rockets that land in specific areas. This means you don’t need to stay in cover

God I’m excited. These are the guys that made Origins and Black Flag, two of my favourite games in the series, and this is an even better time period for me.
