Im not even just talking about big games. But smaller titles that had some real potential, but have long since been forgotten simply because of some issues that nowadays would have been fixed in a day one patch. Everyone seems to look through rose tinted glasses when it comes to older games having few major issues.

No thanks. Updates have made a significant number of games I've purchased actually playable. Without updates they would have been a waste of almost 90 Canadian dollars each. I love updates. Means most of the times issues are getting fixed and that they care enough to do so.

That actually would have been awesome to see.

That's more Qui Gon than Windy.

weighty action of sci-fi combat”

Except no, it’s nothing like that. Liking people your own age isn’t creepy in the slightest.

The glavenus armor is currently what I’m using. I love the design. The armors are quite good in this dlc i think.

Id say its worth it. You have it included so there’s no risk. Compared to the games you’ve mentioned, this one has quite a bit more of a learning curve, but stick with it. The more time you spend, and learn moves and patterns, the better you will get and start to like it.

The armor sets in MHW are pretty sweet and look as they should. Obviously there are some ugly ones, but compared to the weapon designs there’s not much to complain about effort wise with the armors.

Yeah exactly. The dios greatsword is what I’m currently using simply because of how cool it looks to me. It’s the closest I’m going to get to the Astalos weapons unless they add it at some point.

Maybe I’m not into mech? That’s the best you’ve got? My enjoyment of games like the Mech Warrior series, some of the Gundam games and some free to plays like Hawken would state otherwise.

Pretty much the reviews I was expecting to see based on my time with the demo. Shame.

This is probably the biggest issue with World compared to the other MH and everyone generally agrees on it. They got pretty lazy in the weapon design department. I've spent some time playing MHGU on the switch and man do those weapons looks unique and fantastic.

I enjoyed the different outfits. My favourite being that futuristic armor that regenerated.

Nah. I am part of that Monster Hunter crowd. The issue isn't the features or anything like that. The issue is how it feels to play. Every single attack in Monster Hunter feels solid. Everything in this game feels like a pea shooter, and feels like a very budget title.

I agre with everything you said. That was my entire experience from the demo. Ah well. Guess that saves me money in the long run.

Played the demo and I have to say I was far from impressed. The weapons feel and sound like nerf guns. The default controls are wonky, and the overall game seemed underwhelming. Can’t see the full release doing well honestly.

The playstation has never had a defining element that was “japanese tiddy game”.

In all fairness, Nike is known for doing this for most of their soccer jerseys as well recently, even Adidas has been doing it. They’re a far cry from the companies who developed the original and unique uniforms from the 70's to early 2000's.

It’s not that difficult, but it is annoying. The first playthrough I used a walkthrough to get rid of them, but by my second playthrough I learned enough about the characters and their personalities to know what belonged to who, minus a couple exceptions on characters I didn’t know very well (mainly black eagles).
