Sure, but destiny 2 and borderlands 2 are also sequels to games that had the exact same problems. Also there is no shotgun in the games like the one he's referring too. It essentially goes from spread shot to a slug round as you hold down the shoot button to focus the shot.

Sure the weapons feel better in destiny. It’s a first person shooter, that’s almost always the case. But at launch Destiny was way worse off than Anthem aside from server issues.
