Right, how could it be stacked with only indie games? They’re so much less important, that nobody could consider this a huge month, except little babies! I mean what kind of idiot could consider this stacked without AAA titles? Those are the ones that make a difference.

Okay? Indie isn’t a genre. There’s a huge variety of indie games across a wide range of budgets and genres. An indie game can be just as (or more) compelling as a AAA game.

Right, because indie games aren’t real games, and nobody should be excited for them. Same with movies, months without a Marvel or Star Wars are basically worthless. 

I admit I follow game releases pretty closely but this take is pretty bad even if you don’t know about most of these indie games.

Yes, but also Joel is in it quite a bit and they’re absolutely going to lean hard on flashbacks to tell the story. Plus at least half the story is Abby, and Kaitlyn Dever is definitely proven and can carry that half of the series.

maybe it was a series s thing? i know in my experience on my series s the game ran terribly. i also know another kotaku staffer who (i believe) played primarily on pc and encountered many of the same issues i did so idk. glad you had a bug-free time tho ! i do think there’s a good game there buried under all its shit
