... and it pisses a majority of people off when folks are too cheap to buy a brand new copy for a mere $5 more. And if you had bought it brand new, getting a kombat pass wouldn't be a problem because it comes with the game.

I think you missed the part were WB has suspended the need of a "kombat pass" to play online - until the PS store is back online, that is.

I bought a brand new one a couple years ago for only $50 - an amazing handheld with a REAL joystick! It's just incredible that the fighters on the NGP are so much better than what the PSP or DS ever had.

Painful? That was freaking awesome! That's why they need to release this collection on disc, you know home space we've got for more of this kind of stuff? I remember watching the behind the scene stuff for MKII when I was a kid.

I actually preferred the Genesis music over the SNES version. Didn't any else as a kid feel like a badass having MK on their tv sets - in your own room?! I know I did.
