you can change your picture to a trainers face. check your profile on your pss, should be easy to find.

You can choose a custom Icon that has nothing to do with what your character looks like. I don't remember how, since I never cared to do it, but it's there.

You can set them to something different! Not sure why, but I'm enjoying it. I've set myself up to look like the nerdy gym leader, I forget his name.

I'm on like the 6th gym and I still haven't figured that out... it's a mystery.

That's really cool. Lack of wi-fi in my accommodation room has prevented me from focusing on trading, but, then again, I have so much to do still in the story that I won't really bother with that so soon. I'm planning on hatching some babies of my starters and trying to trade them for the other starters - sounds fair…

Going to be mad for the next couple of years as they all try to outdo each other. I know people get very nostalgic over the "good old days" but... really do think this is one of the best times to be a gamer. Our breadth of options is so much higher than it's ever been.

I love every water type starter except for Empoleon, and even when I was a kid I picked Squirtle. He's great! His mega is definitely the worst of the three Kanto starters though, and so I'll actually be choosing Charmander for Charizard Y. Charizard was always the one I neglected in favor of Blastoise and Venasaur

I had all the kanto pokemon in Fire Red but i always wanted TOTODILE!! but never had gamecube :D.

I felt I never gave Squirtle enough love when I saw those cool GIFs of Blastoise kicking Charizard's ass from Origin. I would go with Squirtle in X/Y, but Bulbasaur is my first Pokemon love.
