No that much I do know. From the theoretical perspective of the person who miraculously stays conscious, things would proceed normally. In fact, I don’t think there is any phenomenon that would cause a person to actually perceive time differently from their perspective, as if their life is slowing to a crawl or

I was under the impression that as an object approaches a black hole’s event horizon, they will appear to slow relative to us. Eventually, it would look nearly frozen. So, in this situation, why don’t we see such a bright phenomenon in near-perpetuity?

Anyone may arrange his affairs so that his taxes shall be as low as possible; he is not bound to choose that pattern which best pays the treasury. There is not even a patriotic duty to increase one’s taxes. Over and over again the Courts have said that there is nothing sinister in so arranging affairs as to keep taxes

Other nations would simply become “the big boys.” Likely at the expense of the naïve former “big boys” which thought that if only they were to stop developing, so would everyone else.

I don’t think that’s the case, if EVs become predominant and essentially daily drivers. You will plug in the car immediately, in case you need to use the vehicle. What is still the biggest issue with EVs, and will remain so in the near future, is that it takes time to charge. Much longer than filling with gasoline.

Of course, it is entirely legitimate to argue that published news and editorial pieces should be clear about any potential conflicts. However, if you take the reasoning as laid out here, to the extreme, there are going to be a lot of editorialists at papers of record that will have a lot to disclose when opining on

No one dening Fidels Castro human rights record. But there is a time and a place for everything.

Don’t worry, you’ll get tons of emails next cycle asking you to donate. And if you gave them your cell, get ready for your phone to blow up with “text ‘DONATE’ to 111-111 to donate $500".

Yeah, that was my impression as well. Or, maybe they throw a bone and manufacture a couple of components or do some assembly and inspection

Apple has already asked Foxconn to study manufacturing in the US:

Much how the Congressional map is loaded against the Dems

Oh sure, many people changed their minds in the voter booth (not just “right-wingers,” but for obvious reasons more of them), and some of them even went outside and lied to the exit pollsters about what they did, it would seem.

Twitter, Facebook, and Gizmodo: part of the vast right-wing conspiracy to get Donald Trump elected President (side-note: a large portion of the “right-wingers” opposed Trump throughout much of the campaign)

Does anyone know of a good ‘reading mode’ extension? I was told Readability, but it appears not to be supported anymore or is poorly done (I tried it and it didn’t work on any major website).

FYI every time a rational, marginally objective person hears “but Hillary won the popular vote,” they will intuitively know that you are either blinded to the fallacy of the predetermined outcome, or intentionally deflecting from reality

You misunderstood, or perhaps I just wasn’t being clear enough. I wasn’t implying that no liberals have combated ISIS in many different capacities. I have personally known them, including close family members. I would never say otherwise.

No. I don’t expect Democrats to get behind him and sing kumbaya. I don’t expect the level of hysteria I see, and the vitriol towards the opposing political party. And I do expect to see reasonable people working with the President on non-political issues (eg national security), and where there might be some compromise

No. There is actual, legal, significance to being a member of cabinet. And to some of us, the law still matters.

Here’s an accurate fact for you. Neither of those will be members of the President’s Cabinet. Priebus will be Chief of Staff, a cabinet-level position but not a member of the Cabinet. Bannon will be Senior Advisor and Chief Stategist, which is neither.

Ummm, Trump has yet to nominate a single person to his Cabinet. It’s nice that you are presuming neo-nazis though. You also must believe that the Senate will confirm Neo-nazis.
