i know you think that. but i posit that in episode 7 of season 3 there were many plot points that suggest it is the literal *opposite* of what you are thinking now! there were clear and obvious references that what you are saying simply isn't possible.

why not "evolve" another Kinja site first so we know you aren't just blowing smoke? if the tech team is as amazing as you say this seems like an easy solution to assuage our fears.

the Stack Exchange example just had me going 'what in holy hell?!'… that site couldn't be more different than AV Club. it being used as an example was just … weird.

then why not prove that supposed dedication by making the quite-obviously-needed changes on another Kinja site first before switching over the AV Club?

that combined with the complete lack of user-based banning will make that super pleasurable to use i'm sure.
