That’ll work. But it’ll still take a few months for the outsiders (or stubborn Detroiters) to get used to it.

The pic you are referring to is an old picture from the original streetcar system from before the 50's. The line today only has the cars run down the center for the first mile or so from the shed, the rest of the system is curbside, which is an issue when everyone parks on the tracks.
Even though it was not built for future expansion, I guarantee that it was designed for future expansion. Especially since the cars run on either batteries or overhead power, they won’t need to erect any new overhead wires coming out of the shed they store all of the cars. The only issue would be adding new tracks…
I meant the Land Cruiser instead of the Highlander ... that was my mistake.
Yes...
And that begs the question of what vehicle is a true off-roader in this day and age? Even the wrangler has been demoted to a grocery getter in corporate’s eyes.
I’ll go with the highlander on this one (even though they cost 5x the amount that an old toyota might cost these days). They still build that thing to some darn good standards even though they have changed it into a luxury off-roader.
I love how hilariously rich they had this running at low RPM’s. Little bursts of black at every rev make my day.
You mean this isn’t what you scrapbook?
I see you are taking the ‘avoid highways’ route to Moab, I’m guessing that’s because you don’t want to (read: can’t) take her above 50 mph and not because you don’t like the monotony of a highway.
Not my SO but my mom: 2004 Honda CR-V. Both my father and I HATED that vehicle so much. Cramped on the inside, the seats felt like wooden church pews would have been more comfortable, it had no get-up-and-go whatsoever, the brakes were basically an on-off switch which made stopping comfortably a nightmare, the ride…
This would be a beautiful opener to a documentary about the pit crew of any race. I was watching this then I decided to mouse over to the end of the video and I was disappointed. I would love to see a documentary about the pit crew in an endurance race (or any race really).
Between this, the OG Project Cars, Gran Turism0 (maybe), and Driveclub, I now have a few good reasons to finally invest in a wheel/pedal/stand/chair setup for racing games.
I have never heard of that before but now I know what I will be doing when I get home from work.
Use mine for streaming of auto races when I am too lazy to hook up my laptop.
As someone who does construction work in both of those communities, there are honestly some days I would rather deal with Harper Woods than either of those places.
PBSE-Spec 911. To remove the badge would be a $1500 option.
Sadly, it costs money to tear it down, and for a building that large, a lot of money. As it sits now, it’s only costing property taxes (maybe? I don’t even know if they are paying that). It’s not driving down property values in the area since there is nothing around there anymore except a wastewater treatment plant…
If any of them knew how to actually swing a club, they probably could have gotten to the other side in the seats instead of just bouncing in the middle of the field.
Thanks!. I’ve been stuck in the Pontiac yards for far too long (not that they are bad, just difficult to get to arts out of).
