The Mazda 3 is nice but ... I just can’t get over the ipad thing in the center of the dash.

I have one of the affected TDI’s and I love my car as it is and would hate to let it go, but if the MPG’s went down to gas engine levels I would seriously consider getting a VW again if it came down to it. With the incentives, it brings a GTI almost down to a Fiesta ST price range (assuming no incentives on the FiST),

I think diesel is dead for the passenger car. With turbocharging, direct injection, and higher tolerances, gasoline engines can get very good fuel economy and power numbers that compare very well with turbo-diesel engines. Diesel might still be a viable option for SUV’s and the larger crossovers since they weigh a lot
