You know, I know some people on the team that made the game. I’ll ask if they remember!
I have the XM3, and it’s my first NC/wireless headphones I have, so I have little to compare with, but yes they have trouble with wind, cold, hair, big sleeves on a coat etc. Basically Sony uses a cheap resistive touch interface and it’s far from good. It also locks up sometimes requring a restart of the headset.

Troop mines are also covered under “surprise mechanics”.
“your building the system”
I had an old hard drive that I miss the sound of. I’ve searched YouTube for so many hours to find something similar, but nothing ever got near it.

This brings a smile to my face. I used to rent a Vectrex pretty much every weekend as a kid, and it was a blast.
“it’s parent”
No, its.
Going into RDR2, there’s one thing I sure don’t miss from Ubisoft games, especially Far Cry 4 and 5: Those games slapped you silly with trigger events when you were just trying to talk to someone or go somewhere. It was slapstick ADHD.
“which isn’t not particularly large”
Well now I’m confused. Double negation for the fun of it or did you get a stroke during proof reading?
Look into what John Deer is already doing.
“Coffee Talk grounds...” oh no you didn’t!
Just want to add that while the most common tinnitus is a high pitched sound, it’s quite possible to get a low (~ 50-60) Hz droning sound too. I had it for a couple of months after working (and falling asleep several times) in a noisy server room.
