“Best steak sauce - who ya got? Chimichurri, béarnaise, peppercorn, mushroom, winey stuff, etc. So much choice!”

I just watched that movie for the first time last night after bingeing the last few Potters on HBO (I’d never seen them).

A case could be made that Fantastic Beasts isn’t a prequel to the Harry Potter storyline though. I just assumed the writer meant movies about Harry’s parents and the era of Voldemort’s first run.

I figured they were drawing a distinction between a movie that was set in the same universe, occurring chronologically prior to the events of the main series, and a true prequel which primarily involved the same characters and storylines from the main series.

Yeah—even I, an evil childless spinster, goes “Awwwwww!!!!!” whenever I see a tot kicking its plump little legs or waving at everyone that passes.

A quick google search for “Dr. Vito” returns a gastroenterologist, an optometrist, and OBGYN Dr. Vito Cardone from, of course, Flahrida:

When my grandmother died in La Crosse, I found a can hidden behind the dishes in a kitchen cabinet. I’ve tucked it behind dishes in my own kitchen now as the apocalypse beer. If shit has gotten so bad that I’m drinking that beer, well, the world has ended and we ain’t going back.

I’m pretty sure putting nukes on the moon would be a violation of at least one treaty prohibiting the militarization of space, which is how we avoided both nuke bearing satellites floating overhead and Reagan’s Star Wars program (aside from the bonkers costs of 1980's lasers in space). But really satellites would be

I have a puppy that my fiance likes to dress in little sweaters and shit. She’s a small dog and she def needs them when it’s been below zero outside, but it’s gotten a little out of hand. Matching collars and sweaters and leashes.....a little holiday bowtie collar. The dog looks like a pompous asshole with that bowtie

A. Beurre blanc is amazing on a steak.

It’s nice to see Bills fans support people who aren’t bills fans.

Holy invalid analogy, Batman!

Covering a YouTube content producer whose primary content focuses on video games is not analogous to hitting the lowest possible common denominator in the experience of playing games. The YouTuber is part of gamer culture, as many of them built their fame through Let’s Play style videos

Someone complaining Kotaku isn’t covering enough games? Must be a day that ends in a “y”

Ah yes, the irresistible force and immovable object of the internet. The fucking idiot vs. "needs to be right at all costs" guy.

Nah, you're not searing it for 10 minutes. If you flip it twice it's just 5 minutes.

The Bodybuilding Forum is easily one of the funniest places on the internet. I've been lurking for years, and this thread might not even make my top 5. My absolute favorite is one thread of over 300+ pages, half of which was trying to convince a forum member to ask out a cute waitress at an Applebees and the other

Wait, won't searing it for ten minutes overcook the steak?

I once had a class in college with a dude who managed to graduate high school and get into college and had no idea what the fucking Equator was.

Hi, I have a Foodspin question.

Papa Rosenberg was born in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia (UTC+08:00). He currently lives in Orange County, CA (UTC-08:00). Does this mean he is a time traveler from 16 hours in the future?
