Fellini better tho.
The biggest problem with this story is that there’s already a Shakespeare play that covers the Antony stuff (and summarizes the Caesar stuff) with far more economy, and is compelling enough that you’re fine with watching a struggle between slave-drivers for the world’s largest whip.
Fans of the film today refer to themselves as “Douce-bags.”
It’s funny how watching powerful people behave badly doesn’t seem to make a good film
the lawsuit of course revealed that he’d been renting it out and not using it as his primary residence, which invalidated the homestead break and led to an assessment of more than $13,000 in back taxes

Independence Day, the Men in Black and Bad Boys series, even I Am Legend—all of them have him play a regular guy cast into crazy…
I wonder if Tarantino’s career would be different if he did more straight adaptations of previously-existing material like Jackie Brown, rather than the “mixtape cinema” he dove into afterwards. Maybe he’ll revise his “10 films” promise to 10 original films, make 2 more, and then spend the latter years of his career…
Look, we all hate to admit it sometimes, but Galaxy Quest exists.
“it’s the world’s best occupation that doesn’t exist yet.”
