The American system doesn’t give them the option to vote for third parties and have it mean anything. In Canada, if you vote for the NDP, for example, and enough people in your riding do too you send an MP to be a thorn in the government’s side at least. If enough or the second or third party you can even minority

Good God no! Not if it means I’m going to encounter more more hairy-headed babies!

Donald Trump thanks you for your support. Enjoy your privilege!

That would have been a lot better.

I used to be so jealous of kids who got to do stuff like that, but now that I’m old and everything hurts when it rains, I’m super glad I didn’t make it worse. I still wish I had tried figure skating for a bit though - my inner child wants to be Oksana Baiul so badly.

Oh please, I started dancing when I was a toddler. Now I’m 30 and my hips are....about 80 years old and my knee cap tends to slip out of joint and I hate the rain. Probably a bad example. Or maybe a perfect one.

To be fair, it’s not that scary to fall when you’re only 2 feet tall and weigh 30lbs (I say this as an acrobat who is much more afraid of falling than I was when I was 2 feet tall).

I love the way she keeps glacing at the audience and anticipating when they’ll applaud.

Well, if spinning around a bar had fucking any real purpose or meaning in adult life, then perhaps.

I’m done pretending that things children do are any way impressive and that I should sarcastically demean myself. I could shit on that girl in gymnastics and steal her lunch. Stupid kid.

That’s a Shonda thing that I don’t get. Many of her strong female characters have all there shit together yet still somehow beholden to men and gullible around them in a way that seems contradictory.

“Lord lord lordy what has this world come to — kids can’t even be a kid and that’s basically what it is — she’s 12 years old she was acting like a 12-year-old child.”

Where they WILL get arrested for grabbing the wrong person, hopefully. I have no problem with this girl getting into trouble—all the kids are doing it isn’t an excuse—but I do hope it leads to ALL the kids getting a talking to about normalizing theft of agency. If she gets in trouble and no one else does, her peers

Girls will be girls.

Boys touched girls literally *all the time* in my middle school and the worst any of them got was a lecture, maybe detention for repeat offenders. Unless they groped another boy, which was a whole nother ball game.

The mother called the police? When I was 12, I remember when boys would snap our brastraps at recess. We told on them to the teachers, they got in trouble, then would start doing it again in a few days. My parents were all like “kids are fucking idiots, school will be over soon.” Never would they bother the police

I think what she did was wrong and she totally should have been disciplined by the school. I don;t think anyone should be able to invade someone elses personal space without their say so. Her arrest is a little extreme though.

Okay there isn’t even a double standard here because if a 12 year old boy pinched a 12 year old girls butt, I would say have him disciplined in school with detention + tell his parents. But this? This is ridiculous.

and yet if the 12 year old boy Raped a 12 year old girl he probably would get away with it. But one butt pinch done by a girl, send the bitch to jail amirite?

Obviously, she made it impossible for the poor boy to pay attention to his studies, so his life is completely ruined.
