Star Trek has never been better. I am glad it evolved into something great like this. The success of this show will only bring better movies and series’ in the future. (I already know your response: “Well if the new series are the same way then I will not watch either”)

I can certainly understand why people are angry at Scott Israel; People are angry, they’re looking for someone to blame, and some of them are focusing their rage on the armed cop who didn’t confront the shooter.
His department definitely screwed up, but forcing him to fall on his sword isn’t a solution as much as an attempted distraction. Their failures were the kind of failures that happen everywhere, because the system is serious flaws.
