They do. I know that there are rating kept for live plus three (watched within three days of recording) and live plus seven (seven days).

While that is true, the cut they are getting from it isn’t that big. My red zone is part of a bundle that includes a lot of other sports channels from different sports. I’d be shocked if they got more than a couple bucks of that every month.

In some media, it’s very hard to get accurate numbers. For instance, radio has no means to send a signal back to show that it is being listened to. As a result the ratings are more of an estimate than anything else.

I know a few that are really making a show of boycotting due to protests. They won’t shut up about their courageous stand. 

That surely is part of it too. For cord cutters that use an OTA antenna, I don’t think their ratings are being counted either.

It probably plays a role, but isn’t the only reason.

Theoretically, you are right, if the media knows the names of the kids they could release them.

Multiple laws. Juvenile proceedings do not reveal names of the accused at any point.

Yeah..poorly worded, but its cover to them so when it goes up for expulsion (we hope) the parent can’t use the fact that the school administration was “out to get” their kids.

If roles were reversed, the black kids would already have been arrested, charged as adults, tried in the media, and have had their family members put under a microscope. GOP would be losing their minds...
