This song is really getting the Streisand effect working for it. It’s not particularly good or clever, but there’s some bizarre 90's puritan outrage promising to make it one of the most notable songs of the year.

Are you confusing art with racial slurs, disinformation, and monuments to racism? How precious

Being a troll with no real values or opinions, just arguments against 'libtards', he’s probably loving all this attention. Everyone is playing right into it

I'm certainly not going to tell you who you can be friends with.

Wait, is Dave Chappelle allowed to be friends with people the AV Club isn't friends with?

Sounds like Jeff Ross just became very qualified

I don’t think anyone is, but when you’re watching your 15 year old child being taken advantage of by someone in their 30s right in front of you, you’re no better.

Wow, her dad sounds like the worst parent since that “Abducted in Plain Sight” doc

It’s not truly a Ryan Murphy production unless Sarah Paulson’s face is wet for at least 60% of her appearances

I haven’t watched the show, and only skimmed the article, but I can understand having doubts about someone who went against their better judgement for the sake of tradition or cultural pressure. "It's tradition" is frequently the worst reason to maintain tradition.

I think it has more to do with him being, well, out of touch with current music as a result of being older. We can call that ageist I guess, but I also wouldn’t have anyone I know over 65 trying to produce hip-hop, even if they have musical talent (or have been composing famously for most of their life).
