My condo building is like a giant Faraday cage; everybody gets terrible cell phone reception there, regardless of carrier. So, a land line is still a necessity.

This seems to be only for new cars (2008 and 2009 models).
Sounds like a good option for netbooks.

The 10 for $10 sale (or equivalent) tricks people in to thinking they actually need to buy 10 of them to get the deal, but most of the time you can only get what you need (at $1 each). Usually, the only deals that require you to buy multiple of something is "Buy 1 Get 1 Free" and the like.
I've signed up for the Windows alpha (via the Google form) several times, but have yet to be accepted. :(
Yeah, the Ubuntu Netbook Remix UI is basically the same idea, but done in a much better way.
Ah, my friend bacon. Is there anything you can't do?
@vaporub: +1. I found this stuff (or at least something very similar) at Fry's Electronics and love it. It's cheaper than velcro, and more adjustable than zip-ties.

Searchbar Autosizer. Shrinks down the firefox search box, and then dynamically expands it as you type in a search.
To be extra evil, do a screenshot of the huge URL, and send that instead. They either have to manually copy it, or use OCR.

While the seamless integration with the background image is artistic, the placement of the system meters is far from optimal. 99% of the time they're going to be covered up by some window. With a widescreen monitor, a more productive option is to place them to the left or right side of the screen.
