@LCL: You can turn off your location in the location settings menu in Android. You can also spoof your location.

@James: I went camping this weekend and brought my Evo. I got 4 hours of use (didn't need to use it much obviously) and over 40 hours of standby time FYI. Took a lot of nice pictures with it to boot.
