I do not know if the same author wrote these, but if it was two different authors, then it is perfectly acceptable. Gizmodo is great because it does have multiple opinions, and you can see both sides of a situation.

@buttnugget: Why would I want my mouse to always follow my eyes? Sometimes I like to be able to see the text I'm reading without a cursor in front of it. How would you click? Blink? That would be a lot of accidental clicking. Clapping? Too loud. How do you suggest we do it?
