I recently picked up a Vivotab Note 8, and I'm loving the OneDrive integration with the file system in Windows 8.1 and Office/OneNote 2013 in particular. I use OneDrive for all my work/productivity stuff, and Google Drive and dropbox to a lesser extent for personal. I don't even use my Box or Asus Webstorage.

There is. A work around that I figured out (I'm sure others have too) is to create an autovoice recognize task in Tasker, and then export it as an app using Tasker App Factory, giving it any name you want (I call mine Jarvis). So it works like this, "Ok Google Now (Starts Listening)...Open Jarvis...(Autovoice

Forget the snowball and go after that 11% asap.

Agreed. He and Mcfarlane are my favorite Spidey artists

Don't you have to load up money into it? I was under the impression that you can't have it automatically withdraw from one of the connected cards and that balances had to be transfererd onto the wallet card at 2.9% for credit and free for a checking. Is that not how it works? I haven't used my card for this reason.

I've used this app for a while. It does what it says and does it well. I use it for those situations where an app will be updated, but not pushed out to all phones yet (think hangouts, maps). Once I sideload the apk, I can send it to my friends to update too. You could just send the apk through other means, but

In addition to Tasker, IFTTT's mobile site works well.

Came here to say something similar. Staples will price match physical stores and online pricing if it can be purchased from a physical store as well. I've had them price match items from Microcenter, just had to show them that the item was currently in stock.

Thats actually a good point. There are some things we use excel for that we shouldn't have to, but do so as a way to brute force our way through things. I've been learning python on the side with the goal of being able simply things at work.

Agreed. There's a difference between knowing how to type numbers into a cell, and how to use the formulas. How many people that list MS Office know how to use Access?

And it stays connected fine? Staying connected is my only real concern.

When it connects though, does it stay connected? My main fear is in my use of Google Glass, and the bluetooth in my car/ at home. I don't really mind having to manually connect at the outset every once in a while. I just don't want to have to worry about sporadically losing connection. Thats way more annoying.

Thats a fair point in regards to the wider audience appeal. I suppose thats what the personal blogs are for. Perhaps maybe an end of month or quarter article on what you used, and what you dropped. We all try things out and think they're great and then eventually it just trails off. Could be apps, programs,

I guess not necessarily gadget reviews, more so what are you guys using and what do you think of it, how are you really using it. We see bits and pieces of it in pieces like "how you work" and things like that, but for example, The Verge has a segment called "Whats in Your Bag" where the writers show what they

My question: Whats the easiest way to get data off of an ipad using a windows machine? Having to help my parents with their iPads while not owning one myself has been a nightmare.

I made that way too easy

In college I got caught at a speed trap where the highway was 65 mph, then there was a turn. Right around the turn was a single cone and a sign that said "Work Zone 45 mph", with no actual work or time to slow down (small town municipalities) and a trooper waiting. I got pulled over and the cop asked me if I knew

I've held off on updating my Moto X to 4.4 because I've read about some issues with bluetooth connectivity. To be honest, I don't feel like I'm missing a single thing, and I used to be a crack flasher.
