I didnt really take it as him calling people dumb in the literal sense. More so like the person saying "gosh I feel dumb for thinking my stupid oem was going to give me updates as fast as a nexus". Frustration instead of actual stupidity. I could be totally wrong though

I've had the same experience, only with the android version. Its not bad when you're tracking someone elses flight and speed of the update isnt as important, but I wouldnt rely on it for info about my own flights

you can't compare a hard drive to a solid state drive price wise. There's a reason your drive was so cheap. Because its physically larger, has moving parts, and not nearly as fast
