GTI or WRX (wagon). Fast(ish), practical. Ticks all the boxes for (at least most) people. Obviously it’s an extremely subjective term, and they both have their flaws, but they both met all of my needs when i was shopping for one car. A lot of “perfect” cars you’ll see on here are cars that you’ll need another car to

As bad as the angry lexus hourglasses are, my vote goes to Buick. When they’re not outright offensive to the eyes (have you seen the Encore?), they’re just uninspired, unremarkable and forgettable. Ugh.

Holy shit. Absolutely driving up from PHL for AMEC racing this winter. That’s fantastic.

Bike Fees. There are a number of larger-dimensioned and/or heavier items that fly for free as checked luggage, but if that large and/or heavy item happens to be a “bike” it can be $200 per direction. That is why my bike is often a “stringed instrument” or “massage table” when it flies.

Yes! Just bought a saabaru. It was ~$4k cheaper than an equivalent wrx and I liked the quirkiness, aka totally worth it to fly a few states over to get an Aero with a manual. Most importantly I finally have a car that shares a post with a Plymouth Voyager.

Hey that’s a current concern in my department!

Whatever this is, cause I’m concerned my wheel is gonna fall off above 70...

Forgot to add production #’s, cause they matter:

Came here for this. It’s an ‘05 wrx except for some key upgrades (ex sti steering rack) and a much nicer face. Bonus points for not being abused like a wrx, and plenty of manual versions out there for under $10k

So can we say that Nissan has gone “Rogue?”

Oh hell yes that sounds fun. Except I live in Manayunk. Where the streets are possibly narrower and decidedly less flat than yours.
