You're right, I didn't even take that into account.

I hadn't realized how ripped he was which makes the scene in the last episode where Norman kicks his ass seem silly now.

It was the Spiderwebs video for me.

No Doubt played a show here in April 96 and Don't Speak was getting a lot of air play on our local R&B station. The radio station gave away tons of tickets to the show to a bunch of kids that didn't realize they were going to a rock concert. About 20 minutes into the opening act (Cake) you could see the free ticket

I met Gwen once at a show in 96 and was completely tongue tied. 16 year old me thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in person and it was like a part of my brain had fallen out and I had forgotten how to talk.

There was a fun central/southern California ska scene in the mid 90s. Bands like Let's Go Bowling, Los Hooligans, The Vessels/Aggrolites, and Hepcat played really great shows but never found any mainstream fame. What's his AV Club handle?

Silent Bob crashes into a dressing room while she's changing. Very perky.

There's a TV version of Back to the Future that used to air on TBS where they substitute "Holy cheese!" for "Holy Shit!" when the Libyans show up. Still cracks me up to think about it. There is also a TV version of Major League with a pretty funny edit. http://youtu.be/fAA2KxYyfYU

I remember watching the X-files as a teenager and really enjoying it. Even went and saw the movie in the theater. I recently tried to rewatch the series on Netflix and made it about 1.5 seasons in when I decided to give up. I knew there was still like 150 episodes to go and I remembered that the mythology didn't

I thought the scene with Christopher shooting the guy in the foot was a shout out to his character getting shot in the foot in Goodfellas.
